Hey, guys, this is my last vacation-work! My classes will return on tuesday and, yea, I won't have too much time to work anymore =/ Fuck Quantitative Economics and Econometrics!
It's about an adventurer who ventured deep into the Central American jungles looking for ancient Aztec treasures. He heard there was a temple full of riches and a powerful artifact said to be able to bring the dead back to life. He went there, passing lots of trials and tests in order to access the inner part of the temple. Upon entering these catacombs, he found that they were dominated by the power of the artifact and hundreds of deceased Aztec chiefs and sacrifices were living once again. Terrified, but brave as he was, the adventurer fought the reanimated hordes, finally plunging into the innermost sanctum. There he found and altar holding a bright rock, illuminated by the moonlight penetrating through a crevice that ran from the highest and outermost part of the ancient building to it's long forgotten core. Upon retrieving the stone, the brave adventurer felt an earthquake that shook every single bone of his and torn the very fabric of his courage. A path opened. It was a corridor that led into a gigantesque underground garden. Following the path, the brave man found that this garden was in fact a gigantesque jungle, hid in an even bigger cave. He was amazed by how something this huge and exuberant survived in such a deep and isolated place. Upon walking a bit, he found strange rocky formations so big that even elefants could walk on.
Upon reaching what he thought was the heart of the jungle, he found a hole shaped like the rock he picked earlier in the temple. The brave adventurer introduced the rock in the socket, they went together like key and lock. After a little click, a strange , seemingly reanimated Aztec shaman appeared in front of the now frightened man. The ancient wizard said some incomprehensible words and then two enourmous blinding lights appeared right in behind him. The skin piercing heat emitted from the trees had changed into a painful chill running down every inch of the adventurer's body. He heard a roar from something that couldn't be nor human nor animal, then a gigantic form emerged from the dust. A giant stood tall, as tall as the highest rocky formations the adventurer had found on that strange place. The monstruosity was made of rocks and had it's head shaped like that of a gorilla. The poor man was not even enough to stand against the stone monster's toes. Desperate, he ran through the collossal forest looking for an exit and avoiding the giant and his master's rage.
Anyway, this piece was a good farewell to my vacation, I had a lot of fun while doing it and it helped killing my tedium.
It was inspired by general adventure, writers, cartoons, movies and games like Pitfall, Uncharted, Indiana Jones, Jules Verne, Tin Tin and Down Under by Men At Work (yes, you read right!)
Kinda interesting, leaving the environment as the big focus while the focus of the attached story is only a detail (though contrasting and therein easily noticeable, thanks to the green light).
caaaaaaaaaaara, essa ilustra ficou ÓÓÓTIMA!!!! Putz, curti demais velho. A escala que tu deu pra isso e o trabalho com silhuetas ficaram maestrais! E eu um group de amigos temos um projeto que lembrou muito isso.
