Description

Finally my tests are over and the issues with my girlfriend are solved! After a month without uploading anything, I was playing Guild Wars and had this idea. I was vanquishing the tarnished coast and the loading screen there kinda inspired me. Take a look at it: [link] . I didn't want to go with that regular sci fi stuff, so I kinda mixed it with something from the game and Roger Dean, I tried to do something that reminded the asura (a gw race), they're like bizarre sci-fi alien/aztec/einsteins/stuck up sons of bitches. I find their concept pretty interesting so I decided to try something like that. This one was kinda fast, about 7~9 hours on CS4 and a render or two in vue, no damn tablet yet =(

title inspired by MGS, always wanted to do something with that title xP

stocktime!

This is a great piece, which really captures the viewers eye. The colours are beautiful and I like the way you have stuck to the same tones; it makes it feel almost dream like.
The amount of time and effort that has gone into this piece is very evident and all the small details make the viewer continuously see new things. I also loved seeing where each piece of stock had been added in, and each piece fits beautifully.
As mentioned before, there does seem to be a slight problem with the lighting. Both sides of the image (towards the front) seem a little off. As each bit of building is on the opposite side from the sun, I feel they need to be a little more shaded. Apart from that, this is a great piece of work!
