Almost Dead

Just to tell you that I had an near death experience earlier this week. I started feeling very sick around sunday morning, later I started puking, my body got extremely weak, every joint and organ started aching and I had to be urgently moved to the hospital, where I stayed until the next day. I was diagnosed with a severe gastrointestinal infection and needed urgent treatment, even an surgery to treat the infected area was suggested. My exams showed extreme levels of white blood cells and everything almost went down. Now I'm using two antibiotics to contain the infection and their side effects are very debilitating themselves, I'm constantly feeling nauseated, my mouth tastes awful, my digestive system feels all twisted and every function of my body seems rather wrong. Just to let you know, I'm feeling much better now, but I still have 5 more days of 3 doses of antibiotics a day to go.

I've been sent to the hospital before to treat infections and stuff, but this time, back there when I almost fainted in the lobby and everything hurt like hell, I really feared the worse. It was just an horrible experience, I can say that I started living barely functionally again only two days after the incident, the pain,the fever, the nausea and the weakness were just too strong before that for me to be able to get out of bed. Thank God my Mom, my family and my girlfriend helped me, I don't know what could have happened otherwise.
